Job Description - VAT Refund Specialist

Responsibilities

Facilitate the routing and clearance of VAT refund claims to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) – both Regional and National offices.

Ensure proper and organized documentation for all relevant sales and purchase transactions related to the claims, including scanned and photocopied official receipts, billing statements, and acknowledgment receipts.

Perform accurate data encoding of Sales, Purchases, and Inward Remittances to support refund applications.

Prepare and submit VAT Refund Application Claims to the BIR – National Office within the prescribed timelines.

2. Securing Foreign Certificate

Obtain and submit the Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC) from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

Retrieve and process foreign certificates for clients through official websites or portals, ensuring accuracy and validity.

3. Administrative and Ad Hoc Duties

Carry out other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior to support departmental goals and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or any course related.

1 to 2 years' experience in VAT refund processing.

Proficiency with Google Drive.

Work Arrangement

Work Setup: On-site

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 am flexi start time, should complete nine 9 hours work, inclusive of one 1 hour lunch break
