Position: Video Editor
Work Hours (Client): 9 am to 5 pm Mexico Timezone, Monday to Friday
Work Hours (MNL): 11 pm to 7 am MNL Time, Monday to Friday
Pay Range: $1,100 to $1,200/month (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD

We are an Emmy award-winning experience design studio exploring human emotion, intimacy, and connection in the digital age. Established in 2014 we have created multiple award-winning projects all centered on the human experience.
We focus on holding a space for people to explore the emotional experience of being human as it changes because of technology in each of our creations. One creation is an Emmy award-winning interactive documentary project called {THE AND}, where over 1200 pairs of people have been filmed in conversations in over 17 locations around the world.
We have a global highly engaged audience. Currently 900k on Youtube, 1.2M on TikTok, and 400k on IG. We have over 15 products that we sell throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

About the Role:
As the Video Editor, you will produce video assets to support brand building, community engagement, and advertising campaigns on key social and digital platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Amazon, Facebook, Google Search, LinkedIn, and more for all product lines across The Skin Deep offering.

90-DAY EXPECTATIONS
- Edit 12 of the Emmy Award Winning {THE AND} format
- Deliver 90 assets from those conversations for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Design numerous advertising assets for Amazon and campaigns on Facebook and Google Search
STRATEGIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee, create, and deliver video assets that convey the brand narrative and value
- Work with our Director of E-Commerce and Marketing to deliver advertising assets that increase existing conversion rate
- Work with our Head of Growth to highlight the brand narrative strategy and how best to deliver that in a cohesive manner across all our communication platforms
- Create assets that reinforce our community-building narratives.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule workload delivery of assets for our Publishing Content Matrix
- Edit Video assets for Youtube of our {THE AND} Conversations and packaging for delivery.
- Create assets from {THE AND} conversations for YouTube shorts, TikTok and Instagram reels
- Export in various formats assets native to platforms including, Instagram, Facebook, Amazon, and Google Search.
- Prepare assembly of full {THE AND} conversation and place it on a private link to be sent to participants
- Posting content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok ready for delivery.
Current monthly delivery output is 8x{THE AND} Conversation on YT, 32 YT shorts assets, 32 Tiktok assets, 8 reels for IG per month, and 8 Amazon posts per month.
**Many of these posts are derivative assets from original posts on YT and IG.
Requirements
PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Adobe Creative Cloud ( Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects)
- Adobe Media Encoder
- Audio Mixing
- Codec and Aspect Ratio mastering for all social channels
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics
- Editing Principles
- Design Principles
- Photography knowledge is a plus
- Slack (team communication)
- Trello (project management tool)
GENERAL SKILLS
- 2-3 years minimum experience editing video for the digital space and optimizing assets for various digital platforms (Especially for IG, TikTok, and YT)
- Strong command of tempo, pacing, and rhythm (both slow and fast) as demonstrated via the portfolio of work.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt their workflow to any files/templates handed to them
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- An understanding of the latest trends in social video and how they relate to our brand
- Strong knowledge of batch compression and formatting for all social platforms.
- Excellent command of English language
- Ability and experience to handle a high volume of assets.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain the visual identity of multiple sub-brands.
- Design experience and motion graphics are a plus
- A courier will be sending the hard drive to the candidate
- Looking to hire a long-term candidate who can produce high-quality work and is able to work with their team
