Job Role: Virtual Assistant – Marketing & Administration Support

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: We are Australia's leading canine microbiome and Tri-Biotics company. We work closely with the University of Adelaide conducting clinical trials and developing cutting-edge microbiome solutions for dogs. This is a science-driven business operating at the forefront of canine health, nutrition, immunity, and wellness.

The successful candidate will also support Activ Goldens, a premium UK Field Golden Retriever breeding and training business with one of the largest social media communities in Australia for the breed.

This role provides the opportunity to work with innovative businesses that are growing both within Australia and internationally. 

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly capable Virtual Assistant who can support digital marketing, customer service, social media management, bookkeeping, administration, and business growth initiatives.

This role will work directly with the business owner and will be involved in a wide variety of activities across both businesses.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while taking ownership of tasks and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

Will support 2 Businesses in:

Digital Marketing & Advertising

• Create, manage, and optimise Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)
• Create, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting

Email Marketing & Klaviyo

• Maintain existing automated Klaviyo email campaigns

Social Media Management

• Manage Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram accounts - To be automated through each
• Create and schedule content
• Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments

Customer Service

• Respond to customer enquiries via email and social media
• Utilise our existing ChatGPT-powered knowledge base

Administration & Business Support

• Email and calendar management
• Data entry and reporting
• Manage puppy waitlists, customer records, and general administration

Xero & Bookkeeping Support

• Basic Reconcile bank transactions in Xero by Match receipts and invoices to transactions. 

Website & E-Commerce Support

• Update Shopify and Wix websites when required

Content Creation & Design

• Create content using Canva and ChatGPT
• Assist with graphics, promotions, and product updates
• Support content creation across both businesses

Essential

• Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Marketing Assistant, or similar role
• Experience managing Meta Ads campaigns
• Experience managing Google Ads campaigns
• Experience using Klaviyo
• Experience using Shopify
• Strong Canva design skills
• Experience managing Facebook and Instagram business accounts
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail
• Comfortable learning and implementing new software and AI tools

Preferred

• Experience supporting e-commerce businesses
• Experience in customer service
• Experience using ChatGPT and AI-powered tools

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
