Job Description - VP, Finance

A growing manufacturing company is looking for a Vice President of Finance to join their executive leadership team. This role is responsible for shaping the organization's financial direction by leading the financial planning and analysis, directing annual budgeting and capital allocation, evaluating major investment transactions, and securing funding for corporate expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by building advanced financial models to evaluate production costs, product line profitability, supply chain variance, and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators tracking manufacturing overhead, labor efficiency, and inventory holding costs.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual performance analyses with actionable insights for executive leadership and the board of directors.
  • Direct annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles across manufacturing plants and corporate departments.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain leaders to align resource allocation with strategic production goals.
  • Monitor capital expenditure versus operating expenditure performance and conduct variance analyses to enforce strict financial discipline.
  • Evaluate capital allocation proposals, machinery acquisitions, plant expansions, and automation technology investments using ROI and NPV models.
  • Conduct financial modeling and due diligence for potential strategic growth opportunities within the industrial sector.
  • Optimize working capital management, inventory turnover, and cash conversion cycles across all manufacturing sites.
  • Lead capital-raising initiatives, including debt financing, private equity engagements, and credit facility negotiations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, financial advisors, and rating agencies.
  • Oversee the organization's overall liquidity, capital structure, and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • 10 to 12 years of progressive corporate finance experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership capacity within the manufacturing or heavy industrial sector.
  • CPA license or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up environment with a proven track record of building and scaling finance teams is a major advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in FP&A, budget forecasting and allocation, financial modeling, capital allocation, and fundraising execution.
  • Strong track record in stakeholder and investor management.
  • Excellent communication, strategic leadership, and executive decision-making skills.

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite - MWF)

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday

Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa City
