Web Project Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead the planning, development, and execution of website projects, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionality.

· Collaborate with the Corporate IT Department to troubleshoot technical issues, implement website updates, and ensure the site’s security and performance.

· Work closely with the Marketing team to integrate branding, messaging, and marketing objectives into the website's design and functionality.

· Optimize website architecture, navigation, and content for an enhanced user experience (UI/UX) and drive increased engagement.

· Maintain and update the website, ensuring it is always functional, secure, and up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry standards.

· Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, SEO-optimized, and follows best practices for web accessibility.

· Monitor site performance and use analytics tools to identify areas of improvement and inform future design and development decisions.

· Manage project timelines, resources, and workflows to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, design trends, and best practices to continually improve the website’s user experience and functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A.    Minimum Education

* Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.

B.    Minimum Experience/Training

* 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of both front-end and back-end projects.

* Strong expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js).

* Experience with web design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma) and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

* Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience implementing responsive, user-centered designs.
