Work Set -up: Work from Home/Work from Office
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm PH Time
Salary: Php 65,000 – Php 85,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeping/accounting professional to own job costing and project financials end -to -end in Xero for our construction projects. You’ll partner with project managers and site teams to deliver accurate, timely financial insights and ensure every job is tracked, costed, and reported correctly. Your work will directly support operational decision -making and project profitability.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR XERO JOB COSTING & PROJECT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities as a Xero Job Costing & Project Specialist:

• Build and maintain job structures in Xero, including projects, tracking categories, and budgets.
• End -to -end job costing, covering purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, labour/timesheets, materials, variations/change orders, and retentions.
• Prepare progress claims, billing, WIP and revenue recognition, margin analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations, prepare management reports, project dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Implement and optimise Xero workflows, templates, and automations for efficiency and accuracy.
• Integrate and manage add -ons such as Xero Projects, payroll, and timekeeping tools.
• Partner with project managers and site supervisors to track costs versus budgets and recommend corrective actions.
• Continuously improve project accounting processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications as a Xero Job Costing & Project Specialist:

• 5+ years hands -on Xero experience, including advanced features such as Projects, Tracking, and Reporting.
• 3+ years’ experience in construction, specifically managing job costing and project accounting.
• Proven expertise in WIP, progress claims, retentions, change orders, and budget control.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills; strong data reconciliation capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear stakeholder communication skills.
• High attention to detail, proactive problem -solving, and strong deadline management.
