Job Description - Accounting Director

The Role

BPO Accounting Director for US Accounting Firm

  • Review and understand all processes for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks.
  • Train teams on SOPs, review team’s work for accuracy, and monitor performance of all assigned tasks.
  • Conduct monthly staff assessments to define goals for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Organize task delegation to increase efficiency and take advantage of team’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • Coaching and continued development of team to ensure they understand all processes.
  • Responding to issues, questions and other requests from US team.
  • Use Clickup to document all tasks and responsibilities and to monitor team and communicate with US team.
  • Become expert in R365 software, Dine systems and tools.
  • Identify discrepancies and inefficiencies in SOPs across team and communicate areas for improvement to US team.
  • Oversee special high-level team that specifically handles consulting tasks, balance sheet cleanup, Custom Financial report creation, assists US with onboarding of new clients, budgets and FP&A.

Ideal Profile

  • Must have BPO or offshoring experience on an operations manager to director level.
  • Must be a CPA
  • Must have good to excellent English written and communications skills.
  • Must have experience overseeing and managing US Accounting Firm BPO account.
  • Must have good experience handling all SOPs, training, staffing strategy (who does what), development and coaching of team, responsible for overall efficiency. 
  • Must have good to excellent English written and communications skills.
  • Must have good people & stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be willing to relocate in Tuguegarao, Cagayan.
