Job Description - Data and Insights Specialist

In October 2023, Woolworths launched Woolworths Market Plus (WMP). WMP is a new platform for businesses to both sell and manage products across the Woolworths Group Marketplaces. Role Overview: Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the WMP Data Analyst & Insights Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing actionable insights derived from data analysis. This position requires a high level of proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, as the individual will be responsible for conveying data-driven narratives to stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. This is a 5 days a week on-site role based in our Manila office, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across various banners and functions. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders, SMEs, and Managers across different functions within each marketplace to understand data requirements and priorities
  • Utilise tools such as Zendesk Explore, Looker, PowerBI, and others to extract and analyse data effectively
  • Develop and maintain reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive operational improvements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of insights and reports tailored to their specific needs
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within customer support data to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Enhance existing reporting mechanisms by implementing innovative approaches and leveraging analytics techniques
  • Collaborate with the Reporting team to streamline data collection processes and ensure data accuracy and integrity
Requirements
  • Availability and willingness to work full-time on-site is required
  • Proven experience in data analysis
  • Proficiency in using various analytical tools
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and insights clearly and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement
