JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Climate Practice offers a comprehensive suite of services to help companies measure and manage the risks and opportunities they face from climate change. These services include the development of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories and action plans to reduce emissions, and the procurement of carbon offsets and renewable energy. The Climate Practice comprises over 200 practitioners led by industry-recognized experts. We have a track record in successfully addressing cutting-edge issues and we have deep connections and partnerships with NGOs and other standard-setting organizations that help shape the corporate sustainability field. And we deploy start-of-the-art software for data collection, emissions inventory development and data visualization. We are looking for an experienced practitioner in GHG accounting to join the Climate Practice. You will lead the development of GHG emissions inventories, work with team members in North America and Europe to provide clients with actionable insights that inform their sustainability strategy and provide technical direction to team members in the Philippines and oversight of their work. Your projects and clients will span across a diverse set of industries, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to boutique brands, and require engagement with clients, and their suppliers, around the world.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with Climate Practice team members, you will:
- Support the delivery of GHG inventorying services, including operational scope 1+2 and value chain scope 3 inventories, FLAG GHG accounting, and voluntary and regulated compliance advisory services
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to clients as well as colleagues on leading practices, standards, and trends, incorporating this knowledge into consulting projects.
- Support the development of decarbonization action plans for clients, including science-based targets (SBT) and net. zero targets
- Communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in the development of the Anthesis' innovative processes and tools to collect, analyze, and visualize sustainability metrics, especially GHG emissions
REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate environmental sustainability, acquired either in-house or in a consultancy environment, with a focus on corporate GHG accounting (scopes 1, 2 and 3).
- Proficiency in calculating and reporting scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, with experience in key topic areas, including setting inventory boundaries, and accounting for renewable energy and supply chain emissions.
- Demonstrated experience in developing GHG inventories with organizations across multiple sectors (retail, manufacturing, financial, energy, etc.)
- Familiarity with carbon accounting and reporting standards and programs (e.g., ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, TCR)
- Experience with third-party audits of inventories, and with auditors/assurance providers
- Experience in broader ESG strategy, data analytics, and/or preparation of corporate disclosures (CDP, GRI, SASB)
- Skilled in synthesizing and analysing quantitative data.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Intermediate Excel knowledge required.
- Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
Desirable skills:
- Experience supporting supplier engagement programs focused on climate change and supplier-level emissions reductions
- Experience with data visualization using PowerBI or Tableau
- Project management experience
