Eyewear Area Manager

Management - Area/Multi-site (Retail & Consumer Products)

• 5+ years of solid experience in Retail Operations (Non-negotiable)
• Knowledge of retail management best practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with a goal‐oriented attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage 15—2U mixed sale scale malls (low to high)
• Lead and assume overall responsibility for the success of the stores by directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales whilst minimizing costs
• Provide initial and frequent and on—going training and development for all team members
• Create and maintain a harmonious relationship between Operations, Optometrists and HQ support without compromising company policies and procedures
• Oversee the day—to—day work and operations of lower—level employees to ensure adherence to organizational guidelines
• Come up with the most updated store process and procedures aligned with the company standards
• Ensure to hire new team members that exemplify the company core values
• Direct the employee schedules; to include setting our hours and time sheets
• Track employee activity; to include successful completion of designated tasks
• Liaise with senior—level officers; to coordinate and report on—going issues and concerns
• Create and deliver reports to senior—level officers and maintain effective meeting notes
• Identify organizational or employee—related issues and concerns and create effective solutions
• Represent the company to external suppliers
• Assist in any AD-HOC task needed by brand
