Job Description
Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Gather the timing of local statutory audits for all the legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited, and ensure the lists are updated on a regular basis.
- Design and formulate the timeline of the local statutory audits in alignment with Group Annual Audit.
- Lead the process for the statutory audit by timely coordinating with the legal entities and ensuring all legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited are completed and compiled.
- Lead the management of Group Audit from the group perspective and collaboratively work with the businesses and process owners to ensure that the requirements are gathered and submitted on time.
- Liaise with External Auditor to ensure that the Group Audit status is updated correctly and communicated to the relevant recipients.
- Liaise with Local and 3rd Party Advisors handling the Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for entities without local finance in the country to ensure that compliance requirements are prepared and submitted on time.
- Review, manage and recommend if the 3rd party engagement contracts be continued, amended and/or terminated based on the relationship with the Group and their ability to deliver the scope of work as per the contracts.
- Actively seek standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance and deploy innovative technology where possible to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessments and review procedures.
- Develop and conduct adequate training and prepare related information material on the Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for business continuity purposes.
- Keep the record of the 3rd party’s engagement fees, Penalties and Late Charges, and the Payment made for all the compliance requirements which can be used to assess trends of payments and penalties as well as the professional fees.

Qualifications
It could be you, if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience and knowledge in local, statutory and Tax compliance, preferably in a leadership role and global scope.
- Extensive experience in handling external and local audit.
- Experience in reviewing engagement letters and in dealing with 3rd party advisors, government regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Familiarity of AFS (Audited Financial Statement) and CIT (Corporate Income Tax) procedures.
- Strong Ability to prioritize deliverables with competing deadlines.
- Outstanding follow through and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Adept in excel and other MS applications.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity and professional ethics.
- Understanding and experience with data analysis.
- Familiarity with corporate governance practices and frameworks.
