Job Description
Employee Relations and Engagement
Increase employee engagement by fostering an environment of regular feedback, recognition, and development
Effectively manage various employee-related tasks such as counseling, recruitment, background checks, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Communicate HR policies on human resources, compensation, and benefits
Effectively implement the performance management cycle by monitoring compliance to 3rd month and 5th month performance evaluation, coaching, and documentation related to employee employment security and performance
Actively participate in the disciplinary process (NTE/NOAH/NOD/dismissal), gathering incident reports and verifying information
Collect and analyze employee data, create employee profiles and provide relevant information or recommendations to the HR Manager and COO
Oversee employee onboarding - from recruitment to training and development
Respond to employees' questions about benefits (e.g.: number of vacation days they're eligible for, tenure, etc)
Recruitment
Actively participate and assist in the recruitment process - screening, initial interview, schedule job interviews and contacting candidates, conducting background checks, verifying information and employment offers
Implement recruitment strategies and processes to get the right talent with the required competency and skills on time
Publish and remove job ads
Update internal databases with new hire information
Compensation and Benefits
Oversee and validate end-to-end payroll process for weekly, semi-monthly employees, and separated employees
Ensure proper and accurate computation of regular, overtime, and holiday pay based on attendance, leave availments, and other compensation, contributions, and deductions for every employee are administered
Maintain highly confidential payroll records
Ensure newly hired employees are oriented and added to the HRIS/timekeeping/payroll system
Strictly observe proper communication and coordination with Finance to make sure sufficient funds prior to payroll release, timely submission of reports and remittance for government requirements (SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, BIR), etc.
Review and validate bank transfers and transactions related to payroll for accuracy, compliance, valid documentation and proper approvals based on guidelines and policies
Administer statutory benefits and remittances, employee loans (SSS, HDMF)
Maximize HRIS system for report employees government deduction using payroll software
Administration
Generate and prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics (total number of hires by department, separation, etc)
Maintaining physical and digital personnel records by utilizing the HRIS system features outside payroll (employment contracts, evaluations, requirements, etc)
Implement 5S, actively and strictly implement Clean as You Go across all departments and areas
Represent Company in job fairs, government officer HDMF, SSS and Philhealth
Assist and promote health, safety and security initiatives and policies
Monitors ordering, consumption and inventory of office supplies and proactively manage cost
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or related course
Experience: Human Resources Officer: at least 3 years
