Job Description - Marketing Head - #

This is a great opportunity to join one of the country’s players in providing quality local coffee to the hearts of Filipino coffee lovers.

Company Profile:

Our client aims to support and promote quality Philippine Coffee both locally and internationally. With its Filipino roots, our client's goal is to showcase the hospitality of the Filipinos and the ability to make the customer feel welcome even if it's just the first meeting. This helps to tie the brand to its Filipino roots but also allows it to create a stronger positioning amidst the predominantly international coffee brands

Duties and Responsibilities:

Business and Market Analysis (Project Timeline Implementation | Report

  • Compliance (Accuracy + Schedule))
  • Assists in the research and analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Assists in the adjustment/realignment of marketing strategy to meet changes in the market and competitive conditions.
  • Possesses a basic knowledge base of the business’s industry, competitors, and regulatory activity which includes competitor products, sales, and marketing activities, helps keep up with trends and best practices.

Digital Marketing Plan Design and Development (Brand Sales/Profit/Market Share Target Achievement | Project Timeline Implementation)

  • Helps in formulating the company’s overall digital marketing communication including social media based on the brand DNA of the Company, Store, and Products.
  • Assists in the preparation of digital marketing plans based on sound market analysis, competitive analysis, and business scenario analysis.
  • Helps in the implementation of nationwide/localized digital advertising and promotions for retail stores, e-commerce, and new sales channels
  • Creates strategies based on social media insights, Google Analytics, social media listening, and other available data
  • Coordinates with digital marketing counterparts from external partners like malls, marketplaces, and other sales channels for promo and campaign requirements and executions
  • Manages and sustains content on all social media accounts and company-owned digital platforms and communities.

Digital Marketing Plan Management (Brand Sales and Profitability Targets | Project Timeline Implementation | Report Compliance (Accuracy + Schedule)}

  • Helps in monitoring actual sales, reach, engagement, expenses and profitability figures per brand and channel and recommends corresponding corrective actions to address variance if needed to ensure attainment of profit and revenue objectives.
  • Coordinates with service providers and other external suppliers and other departments the timely execution of programs outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Ensures full implementation of promotional programs in coordination with Merchandising, Sales, e-commerce and in teamwork with other departments.
  • Spearheads communication, discussion, and collaboration with channels for the objectives, mechanics, and feedback mechanisms of promotional and marketing programs.
  • Prepares post–evaluation reports of implemented plans and strategies to determine results in profit, revenue, and target shares and as input for future market planning.
  • Assists in the implementation of the Digital Marketing Program of the Company
  • Builds on and implements e-commerce marketing strategy; utilizing email marketing, partnership marketing, content marketing, and a press product strategy.
  • Manages the marketing and commercial side of all e-com sales platforms of the company which includes the company website as well as the website of all online retailers the company has tie-ups with.
  • Leads the design and implementation of digital marketing programs.
  • Monitors competitors and develops understanding and knowledge of products and pricing in the marketplace.

Relationship Management (Project Timeline Implementation)

  • Maintains an effective, efficient, positive, and viable relationship with all online business partners of the company to ensure that the sales and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Ensures that the company/brand image is maintained at the highest possible level and that all e-commerce activities comply with all industry/regulatory standards.

Strategic and Departmental Objectives Compliance (Departmental Operating Expenses Utilization (Within Budget)}

  • Complies with all Departmental Key Objectives anchored on Business Objectives that will be set on an annual basis.
  • Complies with all company policies as stated in the Employee handbook

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder of any business course or marketing course
  • With at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Multi-channel/format
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, online customer acquisition, and lead generation
  • Experience in handling and managing multi-brand programs across multiple digital platforms (social media accounts, Viber communities, Viber communities, newsletters, etc.
  • Experience in managing and engaging with different online communities (both company-owned and relevant communities)
  • Experience in content marketing and influencer/KOL programs
  • Proficiency in MS Office specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong technical understanding and ability/willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Evaluates emerging platforms, and content trends.
  • Good command of English Language in both written and oral communication

Advantageous Skills:

  • Working experience in Food and Beverage and FMCG is highly advantageous.
  • Marketing in the retail industry, and content creation; experience in shoot/content production, e-commerce, and influencer
  • management would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in editing programs and digital marketing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Mailchimp/Flodesk, Planoly, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.)
  • Knowledge and proficiency in all major social media platforms; knowledge in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SEO, SEM, and SMO would be a recognized advantage
  • Experience in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, Kumu, LinkedIn, etc.) campaign and content creation and executions

Job type: Permanent

Emp type: Full-time / Direct Employment

Schedule: Monday – Friday, preferably 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Manila Time)

Location: Hybrid (3 days work-from-home, 2 days on site) , Pasig City
