MERCHANDISER S & L Fine Foods, Inc., Philippines' fast-growing importer & distributor of fine foods from Australia, Europe, Asia, and the USA. We cater to hotels, restaurants, catering, retail, and other food service establishments. We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team and support our expansion plans. Motivated individuals with previous proven experience in retail merchandising and/or with a broad knowledge of fine gourmet ingredients, meat, cheese, and cold cuts would be highly regarded. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Daily visit to the supermarket in an assigned area, provide excellent service and enhance good customer relationship/ rapport to secure orders for all the products.
• Build and develop relationships with the respective shop managers and supervisors.
• Ensure all brands are well-merchandised with adequate levels of stock. Follow the planogram and secondary display assigned by the supervisor.
• Take inventory and place orders for delivery. Liaise and coordinate with external and internal staff on ordering of products.
• Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment, and sell sufficient product inventory.
• Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales
• Replenish stock from the back store to chillers/shelves.
• Maintain and increase shelf facings.
• Look for opportunities in stores for additional space.
• Check for expired/damaged stocks.
• Implement FIFO to ensure product freshness and check on near-expired stocks regularly to minimize trade returns
• Provide regular feedback on the sales performance of our product, store and display issues, and competitor's activities to the supervisor.
• Assist in supporting the sales and marketing team for any ad hoc duties required.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Courses Certificate, Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required in this position.
• Fast learner and can work with minimum supervision.
• Must be flexible in working hours as required in accordance to business operations.
• Must be willing to work in Pasig, Alabang, QC and/or BGC areas
