Management - Store (Retail & Consumer Products)
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing overall Store Operations including but not limited to Cost Management, Profitability, People Management, Business Development, Sales Target Achievement, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Safety and Security, and Cash Management.
II. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of all stores by directing all operational aspects and driving sales while minimizing costs set sales, operational goals and expectations of all stores
- Drive business plan strategies, take actions and review results
- Manage the performance of the District Heads and Store Heads to achieve the desired results in supporting the business
- Lead store operations team to serve the customers best and hit store targets
- Build organization efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure operational standards are implemented and that all policies, procedures, and controls are followed
- Conceptualize sales and marketing initiatives to build sales and loyalty
- Design and recommend business strategies and processes to build customer loyalty and to keep abreast with the market trends
- Understand market, competition and customer preferences
- Create programs to improve sales performance and grow the business
III. Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business-related course or equivalent
- 5+ years experience as Operations Manager in a retail industry
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Able to work collaboratively and strategically with all levels of the organization
