Betting Exchange – a new product for us is our full 360 white-label betting exchange solution, driven by integrated market-makers and pooled liquidity from multiple regions, we are the only platform provider to offer the full suite of products across sportsbook, casino and exchange, all under one-roof.

JOB OVERVIEW

After much success across Europe, Africa and LATAM employing our world class B2B turnkey solutions across sportsbook, casino and exchange, Pronet Gaming is now actively entering the Asian market. With Isle of Man, Curacao and PAGCOR licences, and having made some key appointments into our new HQ in Manila, we have made significant strides in setting-up our localised operation, and fine-tuning our product for success in the Asian market. We have invested heavily in PR and marketing as we move towards the major trade shows of the year, which started with our Asia market-centric stand at ICE London and will culminate in a significant investment in Sigma Asia in June 2024 with a major exhibition stand.

To drive this, we are now embarking on the next stage of our expansion in recruiting the commercial team to support this as we start to sign new operator clients, and a key part of this is the appointment of a seasoned Head of Sales in the region to spearhead this growth.

The successful candidate will develop, lead and manage the sales pipeline for Pronet Gaming’s Asia business, (potentially managing other sales execs) and closing profitable deals. We would also expect you to lend your experience in the Asian-region in regards to the appropriate payments, licencing & compliance nuances of the region, and work with the Key Account Management function to drive continued client retention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Qualification Skills

  • Originate, manage and own the sales team and pipeline
  • Manage the careful qualification of sales pipeline to ensure ability to deliver from an IT perspective
  • Liaise with legal counsel to effectively close contracts on the right terms
  • Ensure a smooth set up and onboarding process with a good handover to the Delivery and Key Account Management Teams

Commercial Skills

  • Be comfortable with balancing the need for sales versus signing profitable business
  • Have a laser-like focus on profitability for all new and existing deals, re-negotiating provider agreements where needed in order to be more competitive on price whilst still maintaining a healthy margin.
  • Utilise personal gravitas and network to get things done, whether that be getting new sales over the line, re-negotiating provider agreements or driving new deals though IT

Strategy

  • Work with CEO, Exec Team & Commercial Director, Asia, on the overall strategy with regards to entry into new Asian jurisdictions, using prior experience to help scope out the commercial opportunity and the regulatory/certification challenges.
  • Help define the key USPs of our offering versus the competitors and employ that in our marketing strategy

Marketing

  • Work closely with marketing team to maximise opportunities in the region
  • Act as a figurehead for the business, giving interviews and PR for journals and publications in the region

Management

  • Coach team members to assist in their professional development and deliver improved outputs
  • Work with other senior colleagues to ensure that the Commercial team contribute to the wider company strategy

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 5 years of experience in the online gaming industry in Asia with a focus on B2B technology sales or similar.
  • Good knowledge of sportsbook, casino and exchange products in the online gaming space
  • Established network of contacts within the gaming industry
  • Proven capabilities to build strong and profitable client relationships, and closing high value deals in the region
  • Strong personal gravitas to lead a dynamic sales function
  • Organised and structured, and able to self-manage the sales process with world-class client engagement at every stage from initial enquiry through to a professionalised sales proposal and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams and build positive relationships across groups of various functions in order to manage the sales process
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with clients and colleagues alike
  • A can-do attitude and ability to challenge the status-quo
  • Significant experience growing commercial business in the Asian market
  • Strong negotiating acumen, excellent project management skills, and a deep knowledge of sports betting technology platforms and regulation.
  • People management experience - build strong teams, setting clear expectations, coach, feedback, inspire and engage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php150,000.00 per month
