Position Title: Senior Accountant
Salary: 30,000 - 60,000 PHP monthly
Reports To: Client & Client Advisor
Primary Relationships: Client Team
Date: March 2023
Schedule: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PHT
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Accountant at Swann Communications, you will need experience performing these functions:
- Reconcile cash with minimal training and supervision
- Prepare monthly Warranty Reserve Calculation
- Responsible for revenue reconciliation and monthly closing entries.
- Prepare various other journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Apply landed cost to inventory and ensure average costing in SAP is correct
- Prepare commission statements
- Learn the accrual process for wholesale/retail deductions
- Assist in supporting audit requests as needed.
- Develop financial analysis skills working closely with Director of Accounting
- Knowledge in sales tax in multiple states
- Payroll and payroll accrual posting
- Inventory and inventory reserve reconciliation
- Fixed Asset schedule and depreciation posting
- Line of Credit and Loan interests accrual and reconciliation
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5-7+ years demonstrated proficiency of professional skill and knowledge in accounting, including strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.
- Moderate / Advanced Excel Skills
- SAP Business 1 or similar ERP system experience
- Curiosity, self-discipline, and desire to perform
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and good record-keeping practices.
