Senior Linux Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Alabang

About the Role:

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in managing, supporting, and implementing Linux platforms across our organization. You'll be responsible for maintaining operational conditions of our retail systems, building and deploying new systems, and proactively ensuring stability and operational consistency.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Maintain operational conditions of retail systems in the Asia Pacific region.
2. Build, deploy, and administer/manage new Linux-based systems.
3. Proactively ensure stability, response time, and lifecycle management of Linux platforms.
4. Contribute to continuous improvement cycles for all functional/operational matters related to Linux platforms.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the search and qualification of new solutions.
2. Provide monthly reports on activity, quality, and performance of platforms.
3. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for lower levels of support.

1. Minimum 5 years of Senior Enterprise Linux experience.
2. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
3. Strong technical documentation and coaching skills.

6. Experience working in an international scope and collaborating with diverse teams.

Requirements

Primary Technical Abilities:

1. Deep expertise in Linux technologies , preferably RHCE certified .
2. Experience with high-density HPE Enterprise Hardware .
3. Extensive experience with Linux automation tools (Ansible, Azure/AWS APIs, Terraform).
4. Experience managing Microsoft Azure-based cloud platforms .
5. Experience with Linux virtualization and automation of system monitoring .
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, and SAML-based SSO solutions.
7. Detailed understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
