Job Description - Social Media Specialist

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement localized social media strategies to increase the page's following within the region.
  • Coordinate with on-ground Regional and District teams to build content and engagement
  • Execute localized campaigns, content calendars, and engagement tactics to achieve growth targets and drive leads to local partner stores

Other Responsibilities:

Community Growth and Engagement

  • Drive growth of the Facebook page by attracting and retaining members from the targeted region.
  • Foster engagement within the community by initiating discussions, responding to comments, and facilitating interactions among followers.

Content Creation and Curation

  • Generate engaging and relevant content (posts, graphics, videos) that resonates with the audience's interests and regional focus.
  • Collaborate with on-ground Regional and District Home Credit teams in building content and driving engagement
  • Curate user-generated content to maintain a vibrant and active community.

Analytics and Performance Tracking

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the platform's growth, engagement, and audience demographics.
  • Provide regular reports and insights, utilizing data to optimize strategies.

Partnership Building

  • Once the following reaches a significant level, collaborate with regional retailers to build mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships that add value to the followers and support the company's objectives.

Stay Updated on Trends

  • Keep abreast of social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve strategies and content quality.

What you should have:

  • Experieance in social media management, particularly with Facebook pages
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and community management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and [Cebuano / Davaoeno / Ilokano].
  • Can write and design social media posts
  • Analytical mindset with basic knowledge in social media analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
