Asurion’s Payments team is seeking to hire a QA Engineer responsible for ensuring that the Enterprise Payments platforms meet a high level of quality. You will work on the creation of best-in-class processes and procedures related to automation and security testing for the Asurion Payments Team

• Current knowledge of industry best practices and participates in industry organizations to better provide critical leadership to drive direction for Asurion.
• Strong knowledge and experience in areas including security testing, unit test automation, functional test automation, performance engineering, automation frameworks, CI/CD processes and strong attention to development detail, produces high-quality code.
• Part evangelist for automation and security testing, part technologist, part developer.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 plus years of software application development and testing experience.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience writing automated test scripts and using automated testing tools.
• 3-5 years hands on experience executing security testing to ensure quality code.
• Experience leading the development of test automation and security programs.
• Experience operating in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Ability to influence and lead change in a matrix environment.
• Experience reporting results in a clear, detailed, and analytical style using fact-based metrics.
• Proficiency with Cucumber-Selenium test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery. Jenkins and Github Actions automation experience is a big plus.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems. Ability to work independently to remove roadblocks.
• Experience with service level or API level automation testing and database validation
• Experience in Web/UI test automation.
• Experience with automated performance or load testing.
• Experience with JMeter, SoapUI, Jasmine automation tools preferred.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible preferred.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Javascript, ReactJS, CSS, Web Services, SOAP, REST, SQL and DBMS (e,g SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience testing applications in both Windows and Linux environments.
