Position : Virtual Assistant (with Retail Buying)
Work Hours (Client): M-F, 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM, EST, Toronto
Holidays : Canadian Holiday
Pay Range : $800-1200 USD/month (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Email and Calendar management
- Travel planning, personal tasks, and other administrative tasks
- Coordinate with suppliers to collect necessary information on selected products for showroom inclusion
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered into the sheet
- Utilize Google Image Search and other research tools to identify vintage furniture designs from provided photos
- Conduct thorough research to determine the original designer, manufacturing details, and historical background of the identified product
- Gather information on pricing trends for similar vintage products available online
- Analyze pricing data to ensure the competitiveness of our product offerings
- Identify areas for price adjustment or improvement based on market trends and competitor pricing strategies
- Identify companies specializing in calculating product carbon footprints and their respective services and fees
- Present comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and preferred solutions for consideration by management
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant
- At least 2 years of experience in Retail or Wholesale Category Management
- Amazon FBA
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Loom, and Notion
- Good Communication skills
- Highly detailed (ie. cares about the context in relation to a task, asks thoughtful questions, asks for clarity, repeats things back to ensure they're understood properly, etc.)
- Highly organized (ie. keeps track of project steps and deadlines, follows up on things without needing to be prompted to do so, etc.)
- Energized by execution (ie. excited to complete tasks quickly and effectively)
- Takes initiative and thinks proactively (ie. fills their time effectively with without having to ask for instructions, actively suggests more efficient or effective ways of doing things, asks for feedback, etc.)
- Humble (ie. isn’t afraid to admit when they don’t know something, willing to admit they’ve made a mistake or need help, etc.)
