We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Procurement Specialist Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Market Research:
  Identify potential suppliers through comprehensive market research.
• Supplier Evaluation:
  Assess suppliers based on various criteria including product quality pricing delivery times aftersales support and environmental sustainability.
• Request for Proposals (RFPs):
  Solicit quotations from potential suppliers based on defined protocols including specifications quantities needed delivery schedules and other relevant terms and conditions.
• Negotiation Skills:
  Negotiate with suppliers on pricing payment terms warranties and service agreements to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
• Risk Management:
  Mitigate supply chain disruptions quality issues or regulatory compliance concerns through effective risk management strategies.
• Define Requirements:
  Specify requirements and specifications for the products needed including features performance and other relevant factors.
• Quality Assurance:
  Evaluate suppliers based on their track record of delivering reliable and highquality products ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications :

• Graduating college/university students who are required to render their internship as part of the school curriculum
  
• Students with proof of good moral conduct and/or endorsement from college/university
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
  
• Displayed planning and organization skills
  
• Proactive and collaborative
  
• Has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Procurement/Supply Chain
