Job Description - Technical Sales Specialist

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of cranes and lift solutions with global presence in 20 countries. The company is recognized with a strong brand name and as one of the premier innovators and providers of crawler cranes, tower cranes, and mobile cranes for the heavy construction industry. They have already established a solid presence in the Philippines and the Technical Sales Specialist will have the opportunity to become a part of an organization that is very dynamic, values cross-cultural support, and promotes people organically.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

This role will be responsible for end-to-end sales from lead generation to client presentation, the closing of deals, and even after-sales. Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and goals set by management. Focus on new customer development and key customer account management through effective penetration of accounts and generation of unit and aftermarket parts sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the superior

Area: Luzon

Target Market: Construction

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in technical sales, after sales and / or service
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is a must.
  • Experience in CRM or Salesforce system will be an added advantage
  • This job requires extensive field work by visiting jobsites and prospect customers, must be able to drive and travel to anywhere in Luzon and National Capital Region
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Highly Advantageous:

  • Technical degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with Pipedrive CRM
  • Experience selling cranes
