Vice President Sales & Marketing (Domestic Sales) PAN INDIA for Garment /Apparel Industry Candidate Should have domestic Experience, Technically qualified, Resourceful, Effective & Versatile Garment Apparel product & market knowledge Sales & Marketing with proven proficiency in all aspects of Garment business Management in Domestic sales arena pan india

The Vice President of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organizations sales function. As the organization?s senior- most sales leader, the VP Sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy. The VP Sales reports to the Director of the company.

  • Dual Reporting to Head Sales and Marketing & Director Sales and Marketing
  • Governments Tenders & Projects .
  • New Listing Products with Various chains. Managing Direct Accounts Debtors, Managing Schemes across Chains. Handling all the Nationalized Large format Chains.
  • Handling Entire Pan India Ecommerce Sales.
  • Managing all the Marketing Initiatives across MT and Corporate accounts
  • Creating distributor networks across India for MT and Corporate .
  • Create Synergy and business opportunity with different clients through managing and preparing different solutions Programs such as Payment solution, RNR solution, Gifting Solutions, Disbursement solutions for the clients
  • Responsible for acquiring of new corporate accounts, scaling business from existing accounts by identifying business opportunities and increase penetration into the current accounts to enhance revenues.
  • Ensure all accounts in the portfolio are mapped & profiled.
  • Interacting with Key decision makers and senior level Management.
  • Skilled at developing integrated marketing solutions for diverse clients.
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Applying for Government / Corporate Tenders with respect to Gifting requirements
  • Aligns the sales organization?s objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
  • Leads learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization, and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent. Through active, productive partnerships with Human Resources and Learning and Development functions, the VP establishes learning and development objectives essential to the sales organization?s success, oversees the effective delivery of training and development programs, actively assesses the value of training and development investments, and monitors learning and development outcomes to ensure high ROI.
  • Establishes and governs the sales organizations performance management system. This includes establishing guiding sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs; overseeing the equitable allocation of organization objectives across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; and ensuring all key sales and sales management associates are held accountable for assigned results.
  • Provides leadership to the sales organization?s management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high- performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Accountable for the sales organization support budget. Proactively assesses existing sales organization support investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support. Ensures support investments yield productivity benefits consistent with established objectives. Provides managerial leadership to Sales Operations in meeting this responsibility, and works closely with the Chief Information Officer to ensure technology initiatives are implemented consistent with firm technology strategy.
  • Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.
  • Establishes and maintains productive peer- to- peer relationships with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:-


Marketing & Merchandising Division :Leading a team of merchants looking after Sales, Marketing & Merchandising communicating with overseas clients, buying houses & customers on day to day activities. To develop new clients & handling existing clients to achieve the business target.Meeting the concerned clients to sell the company product, to survey the latest trend & understand their requirement relating product and guiding the team accordingly for a business promotion.Motivating & strengthening of mktg/ merchandising team to ensure a high standard service to customers.Costing & quality settings of samples as per buyer requirements.Planning for overall executions TNA & guiding the team to follow thru.Finally execution of bulk order thru production dept in time with quality.

  • Responsible for domestic sales of Garment
  • Expertise in SAP SD module.
  • Responsible for Logistics, SCM, dealer management, payment collection, inventory and credit control management.
  • Developing procedures by supporting and coordinating with various departments for establishing excellent customer service standards for business excellence.
  • Formulating and generating KPIs (Key performance standards) and Quality control measures for effective customer relationship management.
  • Review, liaise, optimize and coordinate with internal and external customers.
  • Train, the mentor, motivate and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Recognize team member strengths, areas of improvement and provide them ongoing feedback with coaching.
  • Improve employee morale, motivation and performance to achieve set targets.
  • Design strategies to achieve customer delight and achieve receivable targets.
  • Actively identify gaps and opportunities, implement strategic plans to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the process and change, training and resource planning teams to improve customer experiences.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues that may impact performance matrices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and quality measures.
  • Achieve sales targets - individual and channel members.
  • Provide technical solutions and train channel partners.
  • Responsible for conducting seminars and product promotion.
