Job Description - Warehouse Staff



PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts.

Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac.

Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.

As a total solutions provider, we aim to become a one-stop shop that offers quality feeds, technical support, and a growing range of fresh & quality meats & eggs products. We do this through our four-pillar Diamond Program which consists of: 1) good breeding & genetics, 2) complete healthcare 3) sound management and 4) excellent nutrition & feeding.

Job Description

  1. Receiving Items From Fabrication, putting of items in freezer with Per SKU arrangement, safekeeping of Warehouse Receiving Report (WRR) forms, tagging of pallets and racks, and monitoring crates for warehouse (red).
  2. Preparing and endorsing to Production items for boxing, receiving of boxed items, taking picture of Exemption orders and doing its FO, endorsing of items for condemnation, stowing excess items from dispatch back to the freezer, receiving from external warehouses or Purchases (if any), receiving returns from rejects/ pullouts, and sorting of FO-ed items Per truck consolidation.
  3. Doing Freezer Out (FO) of orders for the next day’s dispatch (including those for Employee Selling), and transferring items to Holding chiller to execute Thawing Requests from Planner.
  4. Carrying out the “Living Quality” culture and mind set in TMM (e.g., punctual attendance, basic 5S protocols, order and cleanliness).
  5.  

    1) Governs Warehouse movements through Aging and AFS reports

  6. Pushes Aging and AFS report daily from Inventory Analyst (ensures the KPI on the daily report is met)
  7. Analyzes the reports and ensures no inaccurate or anomalies on the data (e.g., Transformation In, Receiving, Returns/ Rejects/ Pullouts, Condemned, Dispatched, Purchase Orders by clients)
  8. Collaborates with Sales to drive actions especially on the aging ones
  9. Accountable on the published report by the Inventory Analyst
  10.  

    2) Oversees the following actual day-to-day execution in TMM Warehouse for items

    3) Analyzes and advises the feasibility in fulfilling those items beyond Ordering cut-off. 

     

    4) Organizes and leads the monthly cycle count for TMM Warehouse. 

  16. Sets monthly schedule for the cycle count
  17. Creates a Working team who would perform the count
  18. Reconciles Inventory Report versus Actual Cycle Count 
  19. Publishes Cycle Count results and ensures 99% inventory accuracy. Determines root causes should there be variances. Initiates “moving forward” actions to ensure the variances would no longer occur.

    5) Supports the Warehousing Supervisor with SAP requirements to ensure real-time and accurate transactions on the following:

  21. input of all goods receipt in SAP. 
  22. input of all goods issued in SAP.
  23. input of Transfer Posting in SAP.
  24. input of any adjustment of inventory in SAP.
  25. Food Safety:

  26. Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
  27. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
  28.  

    Other Tasks:

  29. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc. 
  30. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the team leader.
