An AEM Developer is expected to: The AEM Developer will play a crucial role in supporting the creative department by managing and optimizing our AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) platform, which serves as the cornerstone of our asset management system. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or a similar platform, along with a strong understanding of key technologies such as OSGi, Sling, and JCR. Additionally, the AEM Developer should be familiar with DAM authoring and publishing workflows and be adept at implementing AEM best practices, performance optimization techniques, and security principles. Experience with API-driven clients, microservice architectures, event-driven integration, cloud deployments, and serverless applications is highly desirable. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the AEM Developer will work closely with various teams within the organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and services to support the digital asset management system.
. Implement and optimize DAM authoring and publishing workflows within the AEM platform.
. Ensure adherence to AEM best practices, performance optimization techniques, and security principles throughout development processes.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM with other systems and services using API-driven clients, microservice architectures, and event-driven integration.
. Participate in cloud deployments and contribute to the development of serverless applications within the AEM environment.
. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on AEM-related
initiatives and projects.
. Stay updated on the latest AEM developments, tools, and technologies, and
proactively share insights and best practices with the team QUALIFICATIONS:
. Proven experience working as an AEM developer or in a similar role.
. Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or a similar platform.
. Strong understanding of OSGi, Sling, and JCR (preferred)
. Familiarity with DAM authoring and publishing workflows.
. Knowledge of AEM best practices, performance optimization techniques, and security principles.
. Experience with API-driven clients, microservice architectures, event-driven integration, cloud deployments, and serverless applications.
. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
