Job Description - Android Developer

Hi IT Professionals, Encora is on the look-out for Android Developer with at least 4 years professional experience with Android Development. We count with 16 global offices and 25 innovation labs. Our Software Engineering experts work with leading-edge technology companies to improve their speed to impact. Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.
Primary focus will be development of applications and their integration with back-end services.
Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Perform functional analysis, application design, development, unit test, deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Java Kotlin
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitLab
Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, preferably vue.js is an advantage
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Optimize
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA
Familiarity with CI/CD
Amenable to hybrid work set up in BGC Taguig
Amenable to dayshift schedule
