• At least 3 years solid experience as Native Android Developer
• Has a good grasp of JAVA fundamentals including but not limited to:

o JAVA / Kotlin

o Object-Oriented Programming
o Collections (e.g Lists, Hashmap)
o Exception Handling
o Input/Output Streams
o Java Multithreading
o The Activity and Fragment lifecycle
o Component / Views usage both programatically and in xml design
o Clean Architecture
o Model–view–viewmodel design pattern particularly with Android's Databinding library
o Usage of Parcelables for passing data through intents
o Live Data, Dagger2, RecyclerView, RxJava/RxAndroid, Android Jetpack Libraries
o Generation of APKs and/or App Bundles

• Knowledge in Modular approach in programming
• Has a good grasp of the REST architecture
• Knowledge of Spring and FasterXml/Jackson libraries for consumption of RESTful services is a plus
• Worked on more complex usage of gradle besides simply managing dependencies (e.g. publishing libraries to public/private repositories)
• Has worked on projects with the bare minimum security features including but not limited to:
o Any form of obfuscation but mastery of ProGuard is a huge plus
o SSL Pinning and/or Public Key Pinning
o Payload encryption
o Root-checking
