Associate Finance

Job purpose
As an Associate Finance, you will contribute to our client's success by working with this firm's senior team to maintain and develop all aspects of our client's financial accounting processes and related controls. In addition, you will assist in regulatory reporting, external & internal audits, and financial risk management matters to help our clients meet their regulatory obligations

Duties and responsibilities

. Assume responsibility for data integrity and entrance of data into client accounting systems.
. Create and maintain Fixed Assets Registers.
. Prepare vouchers and book petty cash expenses into client accounting systems.
. Prepare and reconcile all bank statements for clients.
. Responsible for accruals and provisions and monthly book closing for review by the team.
. Prepare client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, income statement for review by the team.
. Preparation and processing of financial reports and financial statements for clients incoordination with team.
. Assist the team with the preparation of regulatory returns and timely submission for clients.
. Assist the team to meet client external and internal auditor's needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
. Planning, coordinating, reviewing, and validating documentation with the utmost attention to detail.

. Being responsible for ensuring all documents/policies are formatted, quality checked, and regulatory compliant to meet jurisdictional legal and regulatory requirements.
. Partner with all project execution teams to develop and/or enhance processes to make sure that the clients' needs are met as projects evolve in the most efficient and effective manner.
. Apply a consistent approach across businesses, products, and all operating regions.
. Ensure standards and requirements are met through developing and conducting strict quality assurance tests.
. Liaise with project leads and their delivery teams (clients where necessary) to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives. Qualifications
. ACCA/CIMA/CA/CFA qualification is a requirement.
. Master's degree from a leading university with focus on finance & accounting is advantageous.
