What you'll do:

As Chief Investment Officer, you will assume a pivotal role within our client's management team. Your expertise will guide investment decisions, considering risk and liquidity factors. You will engage with investors, drive fundraising activities, and oversee capital structure issues. Your keen eye for efficiency will identify areas where the company can capitalise, while your strategic acumen will devise solid financial strategies to maximise profit. Furthermore, you will spearhead business development and strategy initiatives to foster growth beyond current core businesses.

* Take responsibility for the current financial condition of the company, making informed decisions on investment strategies considering risk and liquidity

* Engage with existing and new investors to drive fund-raising activities

* Oversee and address issues related to the capital structure of the company, determining the optimal mix of debt, equity, and internal financing

* Identify and report on the most efficient areas of the company, providing insights on how these can be capitalised upon

* Devise robust financial strategies that can be leveraged to maximise profit

* Oversee business development and strategy to facilitate growth outside of the group's current core businesses

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Chief Investment Officer role brings a wealth of experience in investment banking, M&A projects, and corporate finance. You are well-versed in acquisition processes from legal to financial aspects. Your broad business acumen and analysis skills enable you to set agendas, drive actions, and influence outcomes. Your excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills make you a natural at liaising with people at all levels. Experience with initial public offerings and international investment work experience would be advantageous.

* Possess an MBA or CFA qualification

* Have at least 20 years of experience in investment banking, M&A projects, and corporate finance in the Philippines and Asia

* With exceptional experience in end to end investment cycle, extensive principal investor experience preferred

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, written skills with ability to liaise with people at all levels

* Well-versed in acquisition processes - from legal to financial aspects

* Broad business acumen and analysis skills

* Ability to set agendas, drive actions, and influence outcomes

* Experience with initial public offerings and international work experience would be advantageous
