Job Description - Data Engineer

Job Title : Data Engineer
Location : Hybrid, 2-3x a week in Taguig / QC
Shift : Midshift schedule

Job Responsibilities :
• Design and implement large scale data loading, manipulation, processing, analysis and exploration solutions.
• Convert Snowflake SQL to Google BQ, test and validate
• Set-up new environments for migration effort
• Identify performance bottle-necks and propose solutions
• Develop solutions for capabilities that are available in snowflake and not available in BQ
• Assist QA team and application owners with data validation and certification
• Design and build Modern Data Pipelines and Data Streams.
• Develop and Maintain Data Warehouse.
• Design and create ETL processes supplying Data Warehouse.

Qualifications :
• Must have at least 4+ years of experience in Google BigQuery, GCP, SQL, and Python
• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building pipelines. Knowledgeable in Data warehousing and Data modeling
• Experience with BigQuery Query optimizations for performance.
• Experience using Git and Github actions
• Experience with Agile
