FP&A Accountant

Job Title: FP&A Accountant Location: Remote Reports To: Work Shift: PST Working Hours: 40hrs/week (Full-time) Rate: $8 to $12 JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as an FP&A product cost analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial planning and analysis and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning purposes
• Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning and scenario analysis
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive informed decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
• Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances, investigating and reporting on significant discrepancies
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to enhance management's understanding of financial performance
• Contribute to the month-end close process by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed, reconciling accounts to maintain financial integrity
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management, providing insights into specific business initiatives and projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial queries and provide relevant data

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
