This freelance Front-End Developer will play a key role in creating visual design for websites, social media, intranets, web apps, mobile and rich media ads, as well as preparing them for delivery with other developers. The freelance Front-End Developer should have a keen eye for UX/IA, understand how to take creative assets and prepare them for digital delivery, be knowledgeable in the principals of architecture planning and able to execute documentation as needed, comfortable working with internal/external clients and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, all while maintaining a positive attitude. Ideal freelance Front-End Developer candidates will have:

• At least 2+ years of front end development experience
• Fully proficient with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SASS, web standards, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Up to date on popular layout frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind
• Excellent working knowledge of collaborative coding via GIT
• Experience with project management software (Jira or similar)
• Familiar with.NET, ASP and PHP
• Keen understanding of quality control and quality control standards
• Aware of emerging tools and new development technology
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to prioritize, juggle and handle a diverse workload under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, excellent concentration, flexible and patient to changes.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Strong work ethic and take pride in the quality of their work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet task expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality
• Assist and train other front end developers
• Develop and code engaging digital designs
• Create intuitive and useful UX, from initial strategy and wireframes to the final product
• Work with back end developers to develop functional solutions on-the-fly
• Communicate with project teams throughout all stages of development
• Have a focus on increasing skills and knowledge
• Execute and prepare designs for delivery through multiple media channels
• Work within a process and keep all work organized according to team standards
• Ensure websites follow WCAG ADA guidelines
