Technical Skills: Look for candidates proficient in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks like Laravel. They should also be experienced with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify), integrations (e.g., REST API, Zapier), and marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) Digital Marketing Expertise: Seek candidates with a strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools, including SEO optimization, social media management, email marketing, and online advertising platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads. Portfolio: Request candidates to provide a portfolio showcasing their previous projects and campaigns that can provide evidence of successful web development projects, marketing campaigns, and e-commerce solutions they have implemented. (this can be super time-saving if they can send some projects they did before we meet) Analytical Skills: Assess candidates' ability to analyze data and derive insights from digital marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and social media metrics. They should be able to track campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. (with a focus on Facebook pixels, Thank you folders and Google Analytics) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
