Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Backend!

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications using cutting-edge technologies and best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and drive organizational growth.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices using Java 8+ (preferably Java 11).

· Implement and integrate REST services, following microservices architecture principles.

· Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.

· Write clean, testable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

· Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

· Collaborate with teams to integrate continuous deployment and delivery (CI/CD) practices.

· Work with SQL databases and JPA for data persistence and retrieval.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and contribute to the adoption of best practices.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

· Hands-on experience with Java 8+ (preferrably Java 11)

· Continuous deployment and delivery (CI/CD) tools

· Experience in automated unit and integration testing

· Experience working with SQL and JPA

· Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically

· REST services design & implementation, and microservices architecture

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Hands-on experience with SpringBoot is advantageous but not required.

· Basic knowledge of scripting language (such as python or Unix/Shell) is advantageous but not required

· Cloud platform (ex: AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) knowledge are advantageous but not required
