Oracle Database Admin
Handling physical and applicative database administration activities supporting end-to-end life cycle of product from database perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing various DBMS (database management systems) versions and applying maintenance fixes supplied by the DBMS vendor
Contribute in setting and providing first tuning database parameters (physical layout and memory buffers)
Installing internal and external DBA tools and Interfacing with any other technologies required by database applications
Interact and work with multiple infra and IT teams as part of environment setup, maintenance and support
Guide developers, assist them with database structure design as of business needs (e.g. indexes, constraints, integrity)
Performing applicative database change management (prod & non prod) while 
Ensuring database availability, health, basic performance and assuring first level assistance for SQL tuning 
Contribute to automation, standards and Database Processes by leading a whole thread activity to his maturity (Documentation, Publication to line) and taking part in modification of existing processes and methods
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis, Lesson Learned and prevention processes to improve deliverables quality
Participate in DB Forums, Triage and Troubleshooting with functional and non-functional teams from various SBG and PBG areas (Amdocs and non-Amdocs applications)
Coordinate with other teams stakeholders to provide DB related expertise and problem solving services to all stakeholders during all project lifecycle (from Development till post production) by clarifying and addressing temporary and permanent solutions to unusual problems
DB installations and upgrades, storage allocation, DB application structures changes, maintaining system security, first level backup and recovery for non-production environments

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Information Technology, management information systems, software engineering, and networking
1 - 2 years relevant experience as a DBA and SQL tuning knowledge.
Experience and solid knowledge in RDBMS, Hadoop/Cloudera
Experience with UNIX or UNIX variants and scripting, Oracle DBA.
Experience with global IT companies, Telco companies is an added advantage
Preferably 1 - 2 years experience employee specializing in IT/Computer, Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. 
Willing to work on shifting schedule and in BGC, Taguig City
