Python Developer

Minimum Qualification Requirements
1. Good knowledge of programming knowledge – Python. Preferably 3-4 years of programming experience.
2. Experience of working/handling data & data analytics. Preferably knowledge of market data (Interest rates, FX etc.).
3. Experience with Data visualization, reports creation and Python graphical toolkits for visualization.
4. Experience of working in Enterprise environments.
5. Experience of working alongside a Tech group, with experience of the standard testing, signoff and deployment practices.
6. (Desired) Experience of building / testing and deploying via pipelines. Own the full lifecycle including writing continuous documentation and guidance as well as ensuring controls are well thought through to ensure safe and secure deployments.
7. (Desired) Cloud related knowledge
a) Azure related knowledge (or general Cloud)
b) Designing and building out a deployment pipeline, e.g. utilizing Azure ADO
The enhancement of the MDX Web UI POC will be accomplished by extending the current Web UI pages and underlying analytics to achieve MDX objectives. The underlying backend analytics will be written in Python. The current QAU Quant library (Python based) will be extended to add the following functionalities in MDX:
1. Enhanced Data visualization: Extend the data visualization tools using Python libraries with better visual components - e.g. 2d line curves or 3d surface plots.
2. Data validation reports: Extend data validation analytics to:
a) Add more validation cases, enhance existing validation logic and add corresponding tests.

b) Extend the backend analytics to add an ability in the web UI layer to generate validation reports on demand and receive visual alerts in case of any issues. The validation reports will cover all types of market data, such as volatilities, linear rates, and curves.
c) Ensure that the code quality is kept high with unit tests and other modern testing practices.
3. Financial tools: Work with QAU team to add richer financial tools to the web UI and work on related financial engineering work. For example, not just visualizing the change in input rates but plotting the bootstrapped forwards for a curve.
