About The Job Xelure is looking for a Web Developer to join our Creative team that builds and maintains web site and digital marketing initiatives for our global clients. We are looking for someone with the experience to produce and enhance its internal and external web presences. With the expansion of our web services team, Xelure requires a versatile Web Developer with the ability to generate, edit, debug, and re-design WordPress-based websites. This individual will be tasked to help design and develop several web portals that will be utilized internally and externally. This person must be familiar with the current trends in web development and UX designs – ideally aware of minimalism and mobile designs Be part of our growing team and Grow with us! Qualifications And Experience General:
3+ years experience in Web Development with experience in using WordPress and Shopify
Portfolio of previous works
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Meet deadlines consistently
Well organized
Web Development
Experience with use and implementation of web-based content management systems, in particular WordPress and Shopify
A strong understanding of web design, UX, interface design and grids
Knowledge of responsive design concepts and capabilities of frontend CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap).
Ability to extend WordPress with custom functionality (e.g. Elementor) if required.
Understands Frontend developer language (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Experience in Figma is a plus
E-Commerce Site Building
Experience in creating and developing e-commerce websites.
Experience in creating websites that focuses on user experience and transactional flows.
Proven track record in seamlessly integrating and optimizing various payment gateways
Experience in creating responsive design techniques to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience.
Has successfully implemented CRO strategies, that resulted in website performance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Duties & Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of e-commerce websites
Implement and find solutions to enhance the performance and functionality of e-commerce platforms.
Create websites using WordPress with the help of Elementor.
Create websites using Shopify website builder.
Ensure consistent designs across all webpages.
Optimization of Shopify websites for performance and use experience.
