The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the attainment of their team’s sales targets. To generate incremental sales and profitability through the proper execution of systemwide sales programs, contributing to the overall sales of the company. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide and monitor the sales team to achieve the sales targets in the specific business unit.
Provides leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development to the sales & services team.
Managing the entire sales process with analysis of competitors and business intelligence activities
Develops Business Unit’s (BU) strategies and processes that comply with the policies and procedures of the company
Handles new customer acquisitions and customer retention.
Responsible for lead generation and sales conversion.
Introduce product/s in the market.
Execute various business activities that support the company's core values and objectives,
Demonstrates products and services to existing and potential customers and assists them in the selection process
Arrange and ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
Responsible for driving good relationships with current and new clients to achieve sales goals and improving lifetime loyalty to the brand
Gathers client’s feedback and conveys ideas for improvement to our technical teams
Helps in billing and collection
Initiates Forecasting and requisition of stocks based on booked orders
Maintains positive working relationships with trade partners to ensure longer partnership
Attends meetings at Head Office and reports latest and YTD performance of their business unit
Meets deadlines and arrives at work regularly and on time
Cooperatively works with other departments regarding support needed
Strictly complies with all company policies, procedures, employee code of conduct, safety, health & environment programs, quality management system, etc.
Company Assets/Facilities/Supplies
Institutes safeguards on funds, assets, company properties and recommends improvement to maximize efficiency of company facilities and equipment.
Effectively manage the department budget
Safety and Security
Helps ensure of the highest standard of safety and security in the office
Others
Performs other tasks needed from time to time that may be required and as deemed necessary to achieve sales and profitability objective
Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4 year business course
With 5 years’ work experience in the same capacity
Well-proven experience in sales operations & people management, handling B2B and B2C accounts, business deals, & coordination
Keen on details, adaptive to business operations needs, goal-oriented, and a team player
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strategic and creative mindset
Knowledgeable in sales marketing strategies
Distinctive sense of ownership and passion for the job
Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint)
