We are urgently looking for: Senior Sap Abap Developer
Location: BGC, Taguig
Hybrid:
- Probationary - 4x onsite a week
- Regular - 2-3x a week onsite
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM
• Should be open to do shifting mostly for AU, EU as deemed needed only
Job Description
- Ability to work on ABAP developments of a product. This will be working alongside the company’s Architect and US-based ABAP Developer.
- Troubleshooting skills: Ability to problem solve and systematically work through an end user help desk problems/issue. Communicate back and liaise with the Customer Care team on the best remedy and way forward.
- Minimal autonomy is expected. Whilst the role encompasses the ability to work with other developers, there will be times (e.g., a week or two) whereby no supervision will be available. The applicant, therefore, must be autonomous enough to work independently.
- Knowledge of SAP HR is a big plus.
5. SAP Technical:
- A prior experience in developing SAP reports and interfaces or applications.
- Be available to assist the functional teams with a debug to analyze why functionality is processing in a certain manner. Understanding of object oriented is required.
- A good understanding of portal technologies, including ABAP Webdynpro and other portal development tools such as HTML5, JavaScript etc.
- A high-level understanding of the new technologies being introduced by SAP (i.e., PCC/SuccessFactors /SAP cloud). This will be beneficial when deciding on the technology to use as part of any development.
- Knowledge on SuccessFactors itself will be a big plus.
6. Development Lifecycle:
- Ability to develop based on the contents of specifications provided by the architect team.
- Be able to develop your own unit tests and other styles of testing (System, Regression, PVT etc.) where required to do so.
- Participate in Code per reviews
7. Sensitive Data:
• Respect the sensitivity of employee data in all environments that the company may have access to (in both production and non-production environments) and only reference employee data as part of day-to-day support activities and do not disclose employee information to anyone other than those who are involved in the resolution of the issue.
8. SLA:
• Accountable for call progression. Be responsible for issue queue resolution and the SLA's attached to call resolution.

- 3+ years’ experience of ABAP - SAP HR / HCM modules in payroll
- SAP ABAP Object Oriented knowledge
