• Develop and maintain business application programs which support internal customers. Write new program codes and maintain existing codes using prescribed specifications.
• Resolves questions of program intent, data input/output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
• Confers with the Business Process Analyst and users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
• Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results.
• Works within specifications provided to meet programming assignment goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
• Takes independent action to correct problems encountered during systems operations within authority level granted by the ISD head.
• Maintains integrity of program logic and coding, and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of computer operating procedures and operating standards.
• Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solutions
• Performs other duties as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS (or Specifications):

Knowledge of

• Good knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• More than two (2) years experience in using programming tools such as C#.Net, ASP.Net, and SQL
• Experience in major computer operating systems, relational database management system specifically in Oracle 11g, client/server environment, and spreadsheet software packages.

• Ability to communicate at all levels of personnel with clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problems assigned or encountered.

Education and Experience* (_*indicate no. of years required, if any)_

• BS Computer Science or Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or any 4-year IT Related Course.
• Two (2) or more years experience as a computer programmer with demonstrated abilities in custom software analysis, design and development – C#.Net, ASP .NET and SQL Oracle.
• Two (2) years experience in Life Insurance related system/s.
