Test Architect

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Test Architect or Solutions Architect
• Professional Expertise Test automation framework design and implementation
• Coding experiences for 10+ years
• Technical and Testing experiences for 10+ years
• 3-5 years of client facing experience (is a PLUS)
• 10+ of experiences with common testing tools such as UFT, Selenium Webdriver (Java/Python), Rest Assured (API), Katalon, Robotframework, Browserstack tools (App Automate/App Live)
• Experience Knowledge of testing cloud application.
• Knowledge of CI/CD configuration/set-up and DevOps (is a plus)
• Good experience in setting up / updating test automation frameworks using Selenium
• Web Driver (Java)/Robotframework(Python). (REQUIRED)
• Proven experience and an expert in test scoping and planning.
• Experience in setting up / using test tools for quality management (e.g. JIRA, ALM, qTest, Azure Devops, ETC.)
• Experience in software testing projects involving different software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Ability to monitor and facilitate testing progress.
• Ability to create and implement test strategies on multiple test activities.
• Ability to facilitate the discovery of potential problems and address gaps during project reviews.
• Ability to coach, train and lead lower-level Test Analysts / Testers.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for testing excellence through automation and process improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Experienced in handling global delivery projects.
• Proven experience in handling both Agile and Waterfall test methodology
• Experience in leading a team and discussing with stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with test automation development.
• Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Knowledge of selected coding languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, VBscript, Gherkins)
• Familiarity with various operating systems and databases
• Experience in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Ali and GCP a plus)

Job Description:

• Understand/suggest client technical environment setup and facilitate tool selections based on client's requirements.
• Develop automated testing framework, architecture and technical design as per client's needs/requirement.
• Evaluate and select appropriate testing software tools and suggest integration methods with clients existing testing frameworks.
• Help in the development testing community within the organization (coaching, KT sharing, training, etc.)
• Assist in the planning and design of solutions for testing projects.
• Develop a test plan that leads to effective testing with optimal test coverage, based on a deep understanding of client's business domain and/or client's project /release /component.
• Assist in designing efficient and effective test scenarios/cases, based on an in-depth understanding of the business domain and application functionalities and features.
• Applies knowledge of automation development process for early discovery of defects and higher quality builds.
• Facilitates discovery of potential issues through the application/implementation of appropriate testing methodologies.
• Develops new documentation and project testing/quality procedures.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to less experienced testers/users in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
• Provide advice or solutions on issues/roadblocks for the project test team and/or escalate accordingly.
• Ensures efficient and effective delivery of service, by recommending and implementing process improvements,
• testing/development standards within the organization or to our clients.
• Provides regular quality status updates to IT SDM/Test manager and/or project stakeholders.
• Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members.
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
• Can help in estimating effort in relation to test architecture and implementation
• Can help in pre-sales or designing the technical test solution or architecture of a solution/system as
• response to a proposal (RFI, RFP, RFQ)
• Work on multiple projects and accounts.
• Work with other test/solutions architects to define capabilities and best practices in the organization.
