Ultrasound Technician

Job Description :

As an Ultrasound Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results, while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

***Location: Alabang, Mandaluyong***

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound scans on patients as per physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and cooperation throughout the process
• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to capture clear and detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow
• Analyze ultrasound images to identify abnormalities and assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures performed and imaging findings
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team to review imaging results and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and safety protocols related to ultrasound imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with Philippine healthcare regulations.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM - SEARCH AND RESCUE

1. Checks that the clinic is clear of staff and assists in the evacuation of distressed patients and/or visitors.
2. Search each room and/or floors of the clinic to ensure that the staff and patients have evacuated.
3. Assist in evacuation, ensure that the evacuees are located in the safe holding area
4. Perform headcount of the staff and patients.
5. Report to the SO the status of the evacuees.

Qualifications: -

• Preferably Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field 
• Licensed Ultrasound Technician by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) (Preferable but not required)
• At least 1year experience in the same capacity, preferably gained from the same industry.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting imaging results.
