Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Wordpress Developer. The developer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, web design and overall web development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Implement new features and functionality on WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites.
• Optimize WordPress websites for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure the best possible user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of WordPress core principles and architecture.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal or Joomla.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
