Job Description - Assistant Finance Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager in Pasay City.

Location: Pasay City.

Work set-up: Onsite and Dayshift

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy and must be a CPA
  • Knowledgeable in Contract Logistics Business, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, Brokerage & Trucking
  • At least 5 years experienced in the field of logistics, Business Development and Sales
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proactive and good at problem-solving.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that daily financial dashboard is reported daily to the Finance Manager.
  • Reviews propriety of all posted transactions in MsGP (Billings, Collections, Disbursement, and Adjustments).
  • Checks and approves the liquidation of cash advances.
  • Oversees process and preparation of payment request for due accounts.
  • Reviews system proposed entries for liquidated advances.
  • Validates system entries for closing adjustments such as accrual, forex and related transactions.
  • Reviews and checks transactions for the month in MsGP match the production cpon reports td from ol operadons Operations tor for proper recognition of Costs and Revenues.
  • Reviews job analysis coming from Operations and ensure proper recording.
  • Prepares the President's Financial Report to Korea Headquarters and TDG. Reviews all necessary statutory requirements (i.e., tax returns, etc.)
  • Ensures all receivables are collected timely.
  • Ensures all payables to vendors, suppliers are recorded and paid on time. Manages the cash flow of the Company.
  • Oversees and ensures accuracy or compliance to government.
  • Statutory requirements in taxes and licenses within the deadline.
  • Ensures that proper internal controls (eg. Check and balance of responsibilities of Finance and Operations) are in place.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to Php60,000.00 per month

  • Makati City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • field of logistics, Business Development and Sales: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CPA (Required)
