Job Purpose:
Cold Storage Supervisor responsible for the efficient and seamless execution of warehouse operations within a specified shift or assigned team. Oversees warehouse employee related functions, including performance management, individual and team development, and safety, while maintaining a positive work environment. Will focus on continuous improvement and will work within his assigned teams to lead the planning, development and execution of all warehouse procedures and activities required to meet customer requirements, striving to exceed Company goals.

Job Description:

• Work closely with Managers in the efficient coordination and execution of workflow throughout the warehouse for the assigned shift or team, consistently keeping safety, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, team environment, sanitation, and customer satisfaction in line with facility goals.
• Oversee inventory control functions and procedures, including cycle counts, document control and record keeping.
• Ensure that all warehouse sanitation, safety and security activities are consistently performed.
• Maximize all warehouse activities as they relate to meeting established financial goals, making recommendations to the Manager for operational and capital improvements.
• Act on the Manager’s behalf when necessary.

Qualifications:

• College Graduate
• With at least two (2) years supervisory experience in Warehouse and Distribution in a Cold Storage environment
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• Computer literacy & proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to work on extended hours as needed
