We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect with a specialization in Data Domain Architecture to join our dynamic team in a leadership capacity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in crafting and implementing robust data architecture solutions for large enterprises. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in shaping our data landscape, aligning data strategies with business objectives, and ensuring the overall success of our enterprise-wide data initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Take point in aligning project teams in providing guidance and oversight on data domain architecture initiatives. 

2. Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. 

3. Develop and maintain data standards, design patterns, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. 

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective and scalable data solutions. 5. Provide thought leadership in data architecture, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. 

6. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, data dictionaries, and other artifacts to support effective data management. 

7. Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes to the data architecture, ensuring minimal disruption to existing systems and processes.
8. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through effective presentations and documentation.

 

Qualifications:

1. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 

2. Professional Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the field of Enterprise Architecture, with a primary focus on Data Domain Architecture. - Proven track record in designing and implementing robust data architecture solutions for large enterprises. 

3. Technical Expertise: - In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, and data integration principles. - Proficient in using industry-leading tools and technologies for data architecture, such as Kafka, Apache Spark, Ni-Fi, RDBMS (e.g.: PostgreSQL), or similar. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure e.g: AWS, Azure 

4. Enterprise-Level Experience: - Demonstrated experience in crafting data strategies aligned with organizational goals and business objectives. - Proven ability to develop and maintain enterprise-wide data standards, policies, and procedures. 

5. Leadership Skills: - Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. - Experience in providing guidance and mentoring to junior architects and team members. 

6. Communication Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience in creating and delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership. 

7. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. 

8. Adaptability: - Ability to adapt to changing business needs and emerging technologies, ensuring the data architecture aligns with the dynamic nature of the enterprise. 

9. Regulatory Compliance: - Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., Data Privacy Commission, Toll Regulatory Board, ) and experience implementing solutions to meet these requirements. 

10. Strategic Vision: - A strategic thinker with the ability to align data architecture initiatives with overall business and IT strategies.
