Solution Architect

Travel/Relocation/Remote: Hybrid 3 days / Week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design within assigned business areas, addressing customer and colleague impacts.
• Develop architectural visions aligned with business objectives, providing technical solutions for customers and colleagues.
• Own the end-to-end technical solution, ensuring it meets business needs and adheres to industry best practices.
• Act as the technology expert, guiding business areas in driving their initiatives forward using technology.
• Challenge the status quo and introduce new thinking to support innovation and change.
• Collaborate with a team of architects to find the right technology solutions for business areas.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to architect teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage stakeholder relationships at both CTO and CIO levels, fostering engagement and alignment.
• Drive large-scale changes and deliver effective solutions in line with business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Domain Driven Design methodology to maintain architectural integrity.

Job Requirements:

• 5 -7 years of work experience as Solution Architect
• MBA from a top-B school
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the Financial Services sector, with expertise in Corporate and Retail Lending and related areas
• Expertise in solution designing, ETL, data migration, information security, data modelling, data engineering, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce and MS Dynamics, particularly in migration projects is desirable
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, SSMS, and Informatica
• Strong knowledge of databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MSSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI and code repository/issue tracking tools like Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and understanding of cloud computing data processing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead architectural discussions, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members.
• Proven ability to manage risk, work within controlled environments, and make decisions that align with business objectives.
