Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
- Manage Day-To-Day warehouse operations in the different warehouse location of the Consistent Group.
- Prepare the Daily Warehouse operations report.
- Lead the Warehouse Team in executing the strategy and achieve the targets for the department.
- Train and develop warehouse staff in best practices, (GWP) Good Warehouse Practices.
- Initiate and manage daily physical inventory in accordance with the established cycle counting process. Zero (0) variance in Actual stock levels vs System inventory.
- Ensure that all movement of inventory is properly accounted for and documented accordingly.
- Oversee control of the physical warehouse inventory.
- Review inventory tracking processes to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Zero loss of inventory (theft, misplaced in the warehouse, expiration, etc.).
- Regularly Analyze Warehouse productivity levels, and operating costs.
- Formulate and implement and measure continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on the Daily Order Fulfillment in the operations, Distressed stock item levels, and Product Returns information management and flow.
- Provide detailed recommendations on reordering plans to minimize risk and costs while maximizing inventory turns and cash flow.
- Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
- Support all relevant projects and programs related to warehouse and inventory
- Any other inventory related tasks and responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or any related course
- 5 years working experience as Warehouse & Distribution Manager, Inventory Audit Manager, Operations Manager or related positions is an advantage
- Experience in fast moving consumer goods, wholesale distribution or food industry is an advantage
Skills & Qualities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Expert in spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with NetSuite ERP is an advantage
- Experience in inbound Freight Management and processing.
- Able to Set-up and manage multiple warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Experience in leading and / or participating in process improvement initiatives (from data gathering, to implementation and monitoring / control) related to improving operating levels.
