Job Description - INT-C PEOPLE ENGAGEMENT INTERN

Position: People Engagement Intern Job Level: Internship Immediate Superior: Senior People Engagement Lead Functional Overview: As People Engagement Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior People Engagement Lead to help identify, plan, create, and conduct necessary employee engagement activities or programs that support the people inside the organization. Not only will you assist in executing our events, but you will be able to support People and Culture in their initiatives to promote health and wellness, people engagement, and lifestyle. During your internship: Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist in managing overall employee engagement events
Support event logistics including but not limited to vendor sourcing and management, timeline management, project planning, and budget management
Coordinate with internal teams and facilities to deliver successful onsite events
Capture recaps that support archiving processes to ensure ROI on events
Drafting, editing, and publishing content for KMC's communication platforms
Demonstrate our KMC core values
Minimum Competencies:
Relevant experience in event production including coordination and project management
Excellent writing and communications skills (creativity welcome!)
Experience with web and digital content publishing platforms such as SharePoint, Mailchimp, or similar.
Skilled with Microsoft Office suite
Passion for people and employee experience
In-depth experience and working knowledge of Canva
Strong attention to detail and proofing capability
Up to date with trends
Is a fresh thinker who embraces challenges and new methods of thinking
Minimum Qualifications:
On track to complete an undergraduate degree from an accredited university/college with a degree in Marketing, Human Resources
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Active member of school organizations or other extracurricular activities
